Uses : Exterior joinery, flooring, heavy construction, furniture, vats and tanks.
Qualities: Afzelia is a coarse textured fairly plain looking wood. Redish brown in colour with a fairly straight grain that may become partially interlocked. This is a dense timber but there are many species with a wide range of density averaging about 820kg/m3.
